Patrick Vieira fuels retirement talk
Patrick Vieira has admitted he will likely call time on his career in the summer if the fire that drives him on burns out.
The 35-year-old, who has had a stellar career with the likes of Arsenal, Inter Milan and Juventus, is in the final months of his contract with Manchester City and it is not clear if he will offered a fresh deal.
Vieira could have the chance to bow out in style with an FA Cup final victory and it could be a fitting way to end his career.
"The atmosphere at Wembley was incredible," Vieira said of the win over Manchester United in the semi-final. "I hope we win it.
"If I had to hang up my boots (at City) and I haven't found this flame with a club that inspires me to keep pushing myself then I will stop. That would be the best decision."
