    Minced Meat Biryani:

    InGredients:
    minced meat 750-800gms
    ginger paste 1tbsp
    garlic paste 1tbsp
    onions 2 medium
    tomato 3-4 (medium size)
    yoghurt 1 cup
    oil half cup
    Rice 1 n a half cup
    Biryani Masala( u can use any brand)
    soak rice b4 boiling
    In a pan add oil n onions stir till brown then add minced meat n garlic do bhunai 4 few min then add ginger n put some water n cover till the meat is tender after tht add youghurt, biryani masala n tomato do bhunai till water becomes dry..
    in a large pan do layering of rice n minced meat...
    It turns out really delicious...

    MINCE MEAT KARAHI

    60 - Cooking Competition july 2011

    INGREDIENTS
    1kg minced meat
    1/2 kg tomatoes
    1 tea spoon garlic paste
    2 tea spoon ginger paste
    2 tea spoon red ground chilies
    6 green chilies
    2 table spoon oil
    1 tea spoon salt

    PREPARATION
    Apply the ginger garlic paste to the mince meat and set aside.
    Heat oil and fry the ground red chilies till brown.
    Add the chopped tomatoes and fry for a little while.
    Then add mince meat and let it cook till the water dries up.
    Fry green chilies and serve it with mince meat.

    422 - Cooking Competition july 2011

    Ingredients:

    ½ kg. minced beef
    200 grm. Lobia beans (chopped)
    2 tomatoes
    1 onion (large size)
    6 tbs. oil
    6 whole black pepper (Kali Mirch)
    6 cloves (Laung)
    1 black cardamom (Bari Ilaichi)
    1/4 tsp. cumin seeds (Zeera)
    1 tsp. coriander (Dhaniya) powder
    1 tsp. salt (according to taste).
    ¼ tsp. turmeric (Haldi) powder
    ¾ tsp. chili (Lal Mirch) powder
    1 tsp. ginger (Adrak) paste
    1 tsp. garlic (Lehsan) paste
    ½ tsp. garam masala powder



    Method:
    Finely chop the onion and sauté in oil until light brown.
    Add all the spices including yogurt and finely chopped tomatoes.
    Cook on medium heat till water is almost dried. Add mince meat mix and dry the water again.
    Add 2 glasses of water cover and cook till meat is tenderized and the water dries.
    Add Lobia and cook till the Lobia beans are soft.
    Sprinkle garam masala powder. Garnish with green chilies and Ginger (Adrak) slices and lemon juice.
    Serve with naan
    Serving: 4 to 5 persons

    Malai Kofta:

    Ingredients:
    For Malai Kofta:

    2-1/2 Cup Mashed Cheese
    4 tbsp Gram flour
    Oil for frying
    2-3 tbsp Lemon juice
    Salt to taste
    For Gravy:

    3 tsp Oil
    1 tsp Turmeric Powder
    2 tsp Coriander Powder
    2 Green chilli
    400 ml Milk
    1 Onion (finely chopped)
    2 Tomatoes (finely chopped)
    Salt to taste
    How to make Malai Kofta:

    Make a soft dough by kneading the cheese.
    Roll out small balls of equal size and wrap each of them in gram flour.
    Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry the cheese balls until they turn golden brown.
    Take a kadhai with sufficient oil and fry the onions until they become pink.
    Add turmeric powder, coriander powder and green chillies to it.
    Add tomatoes and fry them well till the mixture gets separated from oil.
    Now pour the milk and allow it to boil. Keep stirring periodically.
    Boil for about 5 to 7 minutes and add fried balls.
    Allow boiling for another two minutes.
    Malai Kofta is ready. Serve hot with chapati.
