England holds first ever Base-jumping championship
LONDON: England has organized Base-jumping championship for the first time in history.
According to the format, players have to jump from a high point including Antenna, bride or building in this game. Thirty people participated in the event held in Swaffham in England.
Wind turbines were used in the event. Players jumped from the turbine after walking over 300-steps. Two practice rounds were given to players before start of jumping.
Australian players secured first prize by getting 37 points. Base-jumping is banned in 20 countries of the world including Australia.
