Chelsea boost as Lampard returns
Frank Lampard handed Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas a welcome boost as the midfielder returned to training on Wednesday.
Lampard has been out of action for three weeks after he limped out of the Blues' goalless draw with Norwich with a calf injury.
However, the England midfielder trained with the first team at Cobham on Wednesday and could be involved for Chelsea's trip to Everton at the weekend.
John Obi Mikel, who has been sidelined for seven weeks with a hamstring injury, also returned to training, although he is unlikely to be involved at the weekend.
Captain John Terry and midfielder Ramires are both sidelined with knee injuries.
