    I walk alone

I walk alone amongst the crowd

    My heart still bleeding,pounding loud

    Through darkened streets,I walk alone

I have no one to call my own

I need someone to ease the pain

To stop these tears that fall like rain

    Alone I walk

    To my self I talk

    My teers tear a part

    My broken heart

Walk With Me Down Winding Roads
Tree lined paths and trails Unknown
Walk with me and hold my hand
Walk with me in sea soaked Sand__

Hear my whisper in your Ear
A hushed breath, a gentle tear
Hear the song of mourning doves
Hear my cries of whispered Love__

Tell me of your wildest Dreams
All the things you’ve never seen
Tell me of our life to come
Tell me of our unborn Son__

Name the things you hold most dear
The wants, desires that you hold near
Name a place you want to go
Name to me your deepest Woe__

Write to me of love so sweet
From your heart – dig down Deep
Write to me a song I know
Write to me in sweetest prose__

Hold me close and don’t let go
Your love is what I want to know
Hold my heart within yours dear
Hold me now, pull me Near__

Feel me now our bodies Twined
Two become one, a single Mind
Feel my body, taste my Soul
Feel the love that makes us Whole..!!

    A Late Walk

When I go up through the mowing field,
    The headless aftermath,
Smooth-laid like thatch with the heavy dew,
    Half closes the garden path.

And when I come to the garden ground,
    The whir of sober birds
Up from the tangle of withered weeds
    Is sadder than any words

A tree beside the wall stands bare,
But a leaf that lingered brown,
Disturbed, I doubt not, by my thought,
    Comes softly rattling down.

I end not far from my going forth
    By picking the faded blue
Of the last remaining aster flower
    To carry again to you.

    A Walk
My eyes already touch the sunny hill.
going far ahead of the road I have begun.
    So we are grasped by what we cannot grasp;
it has inner light, even from a distance-

and charges us, even if we do not reach it,
into something else, which, hardly sensing it,
we already are; a gesture waves us on
    answering our own wave...
but what we feel is the wind in our faces.

She walks in beauty, like the night
    Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.

One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
    Or softly lightens o'er her face;
    Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!

Whenever I walk to Suffern along the Erie track
I go by a poor old farmhouse with its shingles broken and black.
I suppose I've passed it a hundred times, but I always stop for a minute
And look at the house, the tragic house, the house with nobody in it.

    I never have seen a haunted house, but I hear there are such things;
That they hold the talk of spirits, their mirth and sorrowings.
    I know this house isn't haunted, and I wish it were, I do;
For it wouldn't be so lonely if it had a ghost or two.

This house on the road to Suffern needs a dozen panes of glass,
And somebody ought to weed the walk and take a scythe to the grass.
    It needs new paint and shingles, and the vines should be trimmed and tied;
But what it needs the most of all is some people living inside.

If I had a lot of money and all my debts were paid
I'd put a gang of men to work with brush and saw and spade.
I'd buy that place and fix it up the way it used to be
And I'd find some people who wanted a home and give it to them free.

Now, a new house standing empty, with staring window and door,
Looks idle, perhaps, and foolish, like a hat on its block in the store.
But there's nothing mournful about it; it cannot be sad and lone
For the lack of something within it that it has never known.

But a house that has done what a house should do,
a house that has sheltered life,
That has put its loving wooden arms around a man and his wife,
A house that has echoed a baby's laugh and held up his stumbling feet,
Is the saddest sight, when it's left alone, that ever your eyes could meet.

So whenever I go to Suffern along the Erie track
I never go by the empty house without stopping and looking back,
Yet it hurts me to look at the crumbling roof and the shutters fallen apart,
For I can't help thinking the poor old house is a house with a broken heart.

    Walk Alone

Life can be tough and I try my best to cope,
But I am facing the world on my own.
I continue the uphill climb with no end.
Send a lifeline, I cannot walk alone.

I’ve been helpful and kind; I give it my all.
The time has come to reap what I have sown.
I am growing weary; shed some light my way.
Guidance I seek, I cannot walk alone.

So many trials have been put before me,
Dark days turned to night, ‘n the stars still shone.
Through the strife, I still see beauty in this world.
I now know that, I do not walk alone.

I have my share of burdens, yet I feel blessed,
Though I have no seat on the royal throne.
Come what may, I have strength to continue on.
He is with me, I do not walk alone.

When my days come to an end, my time to pass,
As He calls me to His Heavenly home,
Oh what a glorious journey it will be.
His hand I’ll take, I will not walk alone.
