Three sessions were held on the final day of the two-day trials at the Hockey Club of Pakistan stadium on Monday.

The PHF selection committee, headed by Hasan Sardar, reviewed the performance of the players in the trials.

In all, 80 players were invited but only 58 of them attended the trials.

Chief selector Hasan Sardar, in consultation with the team management of the junior hockey team, announced the names of 36 players. They included four goalkeepers, six fullbacks, two halfbacks and 17 forwards.

Training camp of the players, supervised by chief coach Qamar Ibrahim, will begin on Tuesday.
