Hong Kong Super Sixes, played between England and Australia, ended in tie after a sensational contest but England were declared the winners on the basis of losing less wickets here on Sunday.
England winning the toss decided to bat first and made 121 runs for the loss of only one wicket in the allotted five overs.
Meddy (32) and Miskar Nehas (31) were the main scorers for England.
Australia in reply got a fine start and they required just two runs on the final ball but they could take only one run to finish at 121-4.
After the match tied, England were declared the winners under the law.
