    HONG KONG: South Africa won the Hong Kong Sixes tournament on Sunday by defeating Pakistan by 37 runs in the final, Express News reported on Sunday.
    Earlier the Proteas set a target of 143 runs for the Greenshirts, with a superb performance by Colin Ingram, who scored an invincible 34 runs.
    He also took three wickets for 28 runs.
    For Pakistan, the pick of the batsmen were Umar and Kamran Akmal, who scored 55 and 35 runs respectively.
    Earlier on Sunday, Pakistan qualified for the final after defeating Sri Lanka in their semi-final match.
    Sri Lanka, batting first, had set a target of 99 runs for Pakistan which the latter successfully chased down, scoring 102 runs, securing a place in the final against the Proteas.
    Pakistan’s Umar Akmal was the pick of the batsmen, hitting five sixes on six balls to lead the team to victory.
    Pakistan, under wicket keeper Kamran Akmal’s captaincy, were vying to defend the title in today’s final.
