Paul Pogba's agent has criticised Juventus' decision to drop the French midfielder for their Serie A game with Pescara on Saturday

Pogba, 19, joined Juve from Manchester United this summer and has impressed with some of his early season showings, but after reporting late for training twice the club decided to discipline the youngster by omitting him from their matchday squad for the trip to Pescara.
Agent Mino Raiola has taken exception to this decision and jumped to the defence of his client, claiming there were extenuating circumstances in both instances.
"Whoever decided to put this news out on the website is evidently confused," Raiola told Gazzetta dello Sport. "I hope it wasn't [coach Antonio] Conte's own decision, otherwise it means he is unable to deal with situations at this level.
"Paul is very disappointed with what happened, both for his lateness - despite good reasons - and for not being a part of the squad.
"In the first instance of lateness he was notified late at night. In the second he had some appointments - the club themselves had organised for him to go through some paperwork."
