LAHORE: Secretary Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Asif Bajwa said that the India’s senior team should tour Pakistan in January but this matter has now gone from federation to the government level. Talking here at the National Hockey Stadium on Thursday, Asif Bajwa said that the cancellation of the series between the junior hockey teams of Pakistan and India is disappointing as all arrangements were complete for holding the series. He said that the cancellation of the series caused a loss of Rs5 million to Rs6 million. Asif Bajwa further said that the option of neutral venues would be availed only in the worst situation. He said that we would take all concerned ministries together in future series. Games should be kept away from politics. Bajwa said that now the issue of the series between Pakistan and India would be resolved only at government level but this is his desire that India’s senior hockey team be tour Pakistan in January.
