KARACHI: Khurram Agha, Sohail Shehzad, Naveen Perwani and Abdul Sattar registered their second win in the 12th Karachi Club Snooker Tournament here at the Amir Bakhsh Billiards Hall in Karachi Club on Saturday.

Top seed and World Championship pre-quarterfinalist, Khurram, constructed a break of 82 in the opening frame to beat Salman Merchant.

Baqar Kamani snatched two frames from Sohail before going down 4-2. Baqar compiled a break of 63 in the fifth frame while Sohail chalked out a break of 52 in the third frame.

Naveen, seeded two for the event, after a tough fight in the opening frame beat Azeem Yousuf, son of former world champion Muhammad Yousuf, in four straight frames.

Earlier on day one, Naveen made breaks of 37, 38, 58 and 53 in his 4-0 win over Ali Majeed.
