LAHORE: British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan visited Pace Tower T-27 on Monday where he posed for an exclusive photo shoot for Pepe Jeans, which has announced him as its new international brand ambassador.
Talking exclusively to Daily Times the internationally renowned boxing star said that Lahore is a very beautiful city and he had wanted to visit it with his wife for a long time, but his busy schedule kept him from doing so. Amir said that he has visited several places in the city and he loved the food it offers. Khan is a professional boxer and a two-time world champion. He is also the founder of Amir Khan Foundation (AKF), which is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged young people around the world and supports disaster victims.
Khan, who was accompanied by his wife Faryal Makhdoom, wished a very happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis in advance. Speaking about Pepe Jeans he said that the jean they make are amazing and people would surely love their new collection. Himself sporting a Pepe Jeans trouser he said they connect youth with the boxing game. Khan said he would again visit Pakistan at the end of this month or the next. Pepe Jeans is an internationally acclaimed brand, liked by fashion enthusiasts worldwide. Talking to Daily Times Pepe Jeans Pakistan CEO Saad Javed Akram said that the photo shoot features the upcoming autumn collection of the brand.
He announced that Amir Khan would be Pepe Jeans’ new international brand ambassador. The photo shoot was done by photographer Faisal Farooqi, while Haiya Bokhari was the stylist. Mehreen Syed, model of the year 2013, was also present on the occasion.
