Pak-Indi series in doldrums
CHENNAI: The Pak-India cricket summit could also not pave the way for the series between the two countries as the Indian cricket board (BCCI) cleared to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that the series is not likely to be held in the present circumstances.
The meeting between chairman PCB Ijaz Butt and president BCCI Sashank Manohar was held here on Friday during the Asian Cricket Councilís finance committee session.
The BCCI president told the PCB chairman that in the wake of the current situation, the right to decide for sending the Indian team to Pakistan is with the Indian government and not with the BCCI.
