Sole T20 dropped from Pak-Sri Lanka series

LAHORE: Following the request from Sri Lanka Cricket the Board of Pakistan Cricket (PCB) on Monday dropped the only scheduled Twenty20 cricket match from the proposed Pakistan-Sri Lanka cricket series to be commenced from late January next year. Now only five remaining One Day Internationals (ODIs) will be played in the series.

PCB sources told Geo News, Sri Lanka Cricket Board requested PCB to drop the only scheduled Twenty20 match from the series which approving the Sri Lankan request, PCB has dropped T20 match and added two additional ODIs in the series.

Now three Test matches and five ODIs will be played in the series. ODIs to be played in Karachi (2), Lahore (2) and one in Faisalabad cricket stadiums while Test matches to be held in Karachi, Lahore and Multan each.
