KARACHI: Led by Mahela Jayawardene, a 14-member Sri Lankan squad arrived Karachi on Monday, on the first phase of their tour to Pakistan to play three One-Day Internationals against the home team starting from today. Sanath Jayasuriya had reached Karachi on Monday morning.
The first two Day/Night ODIs will be played at National Stadium on January 20-21 while third match of the series will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on January 24.
After the short ODI series, Sri Lankan will return back to Pakistan on February 14 to play a three-day side game and two Test matches against the hosts in February and March.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has arranged the tour after India pulled-off of their schedule tour to Pakistan after Mumbai attacks.

KARACHI: Sri Lanka winning the toss opted batting in the first day-and-night one-day match being played at the National Stadium here.
Sri Lanka bowled out for 219 by Pakistan in first ODI
KARACHI: Sri Lanka were bowled out for 219 runs by Pakistan in the first one-day international at National stadium on Tuesday.
Earlier, Sri Lanka had won the toss and elected to bat first. Sri Lankan openers played well in initial overs but other batsmen failed to maintain scoring pace for their team.
Kumara Sangakkara was the top scorer in Sri Lankan innings with 49 runs whereas Dilshan scored 42 runs.
Rao Iftikhar took 4, Umer Gull 3, Shahid Afridi and captain Shoaib Malik took one wicket each for Pakistan.
