PCB forms bench to look into central contracts

KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Monday constituted a five-member bench to ponder central contracts awarder to separate players. While PCB’s Chief Election Commissioner Brigadier Munawar Rana was also dismissed from the post.

Major time was given discussing the central contracts’ issue during the meeting of PCB which was being presided over by Chairman PCB Ijaz Butt as sources said that members’ governing body kept insisting to include more players in the contract list.

He committee comprises of Chairman himself, Saleem Altaf, Javaid Miandad, Abdul Qadir, Muhammad Ilyas, and coach Intikhab Alam.

Sources said, meeting also approved to convert Javaid Minadad position in PCB as Director General.
