Miandad asked to appear at Senate committee meeting on Feb 9
ISLAMABAD: Senate’s standing committee for sports has asked Javed Miandad to appear before it on February 9.
Sources told that the committee has invited the former captain and coach of the Pakistan cricket team, who has recently resigned as director-general of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), to appear at the meeting of the standing committee, to be held on February 9.
Senator Tahir Mashhadi said that the members of the standing committee for sports could not be satisfied with the stance of the PCB officials on the Miandad issue.
He said that the committee feels that injustice has been done with Miandad who is a great player in Pakistan cricket history.
