KARACHI: Newly installed Pakistan skipper Younis Khan is looking upbeat for the two test match series against Sri Lanka starting here from February 21.

“We are well equipped and prepared to perform under all kinds of conditions,” he told media on Friday.

“We need the backing of the nation and the media and we are capable of delivering for the country,” he added.

“We are capable of adjusting on all kinds of surfaces and not bothered by preparations of the tracks for the series,” he pointed out.

However, he said our curators should not be misled by nature of pitches themselves like in the test series against South Africa two years ago.
