iTalk Recorder is developed by griffin technology for iphone and is available as a free download. You can download the free version of the application and try it then later on buy the full version. However there is no difference between the features of the demo and the full version. The only difference that I could spot is that the demo version contains 2-3 advertisements which are not there in the full version.
The developers of the application, the Griffin Technology say that “it’s not just a voice recorder, it has more to it.” I wonder why did say that as there is nothing in the application that makes me say that this is the application for me. All the features are same as any other iphone voice recorder application would have, infact it lacks some as compared to other features. The only reason behind the developers statement that I can make out is that the interface of the application is very simple and everything is single layered which means that there is no sub menu and everything is right in front of you on the screen.
Recording anything is very simple with its one touch recording system. You can also change the name of your recorded fie, delete the previous recordings, and rename them also. You also have the option of selecting between 3 different sound clarity levels namely “good, better, best”. The part where this application lacks is the way you send your recorded files to your Mac or pc. I came across another application in which you can send your recorded files by drag and drop over Wi-Fi and that really saves time.
Moreover, to get the full version you will have to pay for the application and the amount you will be paying will only be to get rid of the not so annoying advertisements as there are not many. As far as the features the trail has to offers, it’s the same as the full version with the exception of advertisements.
