Pakistan refuses to play Davis Cup tie at neutral venue
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan have refused to play the Davis Cup tie against Philippines at any neutral venue here on Friday.
Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) president Dilawar Abbas said that Pakistan would not accept the decision of playing the tie at any neutral venue.
He said that in this regard, any attempt to shift the tie would be refused.
Dilawar Abbas said that the PTF would request the International Tennis Federation (ITF) to hold the Davis Cup tie only in Pakistan because the best arrangements have been made in Lahore for the security of players.
