KARACHI: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced 26 players for the training camp here on Monday.
Ruling out five players of the current Pakistan team in the probables, the PFF has included British-born Zeeshan-ur-Rehman and Adnan Farooq.
The PFF has announced the probable players with the help of the list, prepared by coach George Kottan.
British-born players Zeeshan-ur-Rehman and Adnan Farooq have been included in the probable players on advice of Kottan while five players in the team of the Prime Minister Cup have been dropped. They are Mohammad Ahmed, Mohammad Qasim, Rana Fakhar Hayat, Ali Ehsan and Shakir Lashari.
Instead, Ameer Gul, Yasir Shabbir, Mohammad Asif, Zulfiqar Shah, Arif Mehmood, Akram Mahesh, Mohammad Shahid, Haji Mohammad, Naseer Ahmed, Zeeshan-ur-Rehman and Adnan Farooq have been included in the probables.
The AFC Challenge Cup Qualifying Round will be played in April in Sri Lanka for which the training camp will begin from Tuesday at the Baloch Stadium Korangi in Karachi.
