ISLAMABAD: Iranís ambassador in Pakistan Masha Allah Shakri said that Irani players have no objection on playing in Pakistan and his country is ready to play its role in restoring sports relations between Pakistan and India.

The Iran ambassador met with federal minister for sports Pir Aftab Shah Jilani, secretary sports Ashraf Khan and director general Pakistan Sports Board Ameer Hamza Gilani here on Wednesday.

On this occasion, the Iran ambassador invited the federal minister for sports to attend the sports ministers conference to be held in Tehran during the first week of May.

Shakri said that Iranís coaches are training volleyball players and wrestlers in Pakistan and he wants from Pakistan to cooperate with Iran in promoting cricket, squash and kabaddi in his country.
