KARACHI: Pakistani boxers, who are currently on 25-day training tour of South Korea, participated in sparring with the boxers of the armed forces of the host country at the boxing hall in Seoul on Thursday.

The in-charge of the team Ali Akbar Shah Qadri told from Seoul on Thursday that the performance of Nisar Khan, Muhammad Wasim, Tariq Zia, Muhammad Hussain and Nadir in the hard sparring was good while Dur Muhammad and Qadir Khan need improvement.

He said that Ali Muhammad, Rashid Fateh and Arshad Hussain also need to work hard.

The boxers will return home on June 2 and then a six-member squad will leave for China on June 6 to feature in the Asian Boxing Championship to be held from June 7 to 12.
