Draw sees England avoid Pakistan whitewash
LONDON: England drew their third and the final match against Pakistan 1-1 on Friday but the visitors still took the series 2-0.
England salvaged some pride with a 1-1 draw in their final match of a three-Test series against Pakistan at Cannock when Reading''s Iain McKay scored his first international goal with a well-taken reverse-stick shot on 14th minute.
However, nine minutes after half-time Syed Abbas Haider''s fierce strike beat goalkeeper James Fair.
Both teams played in a tense atmosphere and four players were shown yellow cards.
Pakistan winning the first two matches obtained the series 2-0.
