Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo has told AS that his side are ready for the beginning of the Primera Division campaign following their 4-0 thrashing of Norwegian outfit Rosenborg in their final pre-season friendly.
A brace from Karim Benzema and a goal each from Lassana Diarra and Raul completed a comprehensive victory for Los Merengues in the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy, and Ronaldo is now looking forward to the season ahead.
"We are comfortable, calm and ready for the league to start," said the 24-year-old.
Ronaldo also emphasized that winning is the only thing his team has in mind as they prepare for their league opener away to Deportivo La Coruna.
"The objective is to always win but we must be calm and take it step by step," added the Portugal international.
"The team is ready and we will build a winning form bit by bit and always thinking positive."
