No Pakistani player would dope test positive: Shafqat

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO, Shafqat Naghmi hoped that no Pakistani including Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar playing IPL would dope test positive and added that he was personally ignorant about Shoaib Akhtar being a diabetic.

Talking to Geo News, Shafqat Naghmi told that PCB on its own would arrange dope test of Pakistani cricketers prior to the kicking off the Asia Cup in the country. When quizzed on Appellate Tribunal, Shafqat Naghmi said that Salman Taseer after having assumed the charge of Punjab Governor, his remaining part of the Appellate Tribunal would hinge on his availability, if he were not available, then some one else would be included in the Appellate Tribunal. He said he would discuss this matter with the PCB Chairman, Dr. Nasim Ashraf.
