Semolina Cake (Eggless)
1 can (400 g) sweetened condensed milk
Finely chopped almonds
3 tbsp sugar
5 tbsp milk powder
2 tbsp baking powder
juice from 1 orange
Preheat oven at 180 degrees.
In a large bowl, cream condensed milk, sugar and margarine.
Completely fill the empty can of condensed milk with water.
Gradually add the warter and semolina alternatively.
Mix well after each addition.
Finally add baking powder, orange juice and chopped almonds.
Turn into 20 cm greased round cake mould.
Bake for about 30 mins or till cake test is positive.
Cool completely (allow cake edge to loosen from mould) and then remove from mould.
Serve with coffee or tea.
