ICC satisfied with preparations for World Cup
DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has expressed satisfaction on the preparations of the World Cup to be staged next year.
ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat said that he is satisfied with the preparations being made by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Lorgat said that he believed that the World Cup 2011 would be a successful event and the inaugural ceremony to be held on February 17 next year in Dhaka would be a clear example for millions of people.
The ICC chief executive further said that he is fully satisfied with the preparations going on for the tournament.
Meanwhile, chairman World Cup organizing committee Sharad Pawar said that he is quiet confident in connection with successful staging of the World Cup.
