IPL row: Ejaz Butt says Modi did not receive my call
LAHORE: The Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ejaz Butt condemned the action of IPL Franchises of not selecting any of 11 Pakistani players during auction of international players for the events 3rd edition, Geo news reported.
Talking to media in Lahore, he said: I am unhappy over not selection of Pakistani players in IPLs 3rd edition.
I have also asked federal minister for sports to take up this issue with his Indian counterpart, he said.
He said I made many phone calls to the commissioner of IPL Lallit Modi but he did not even receive my call.
We will take notice of teams performance and other controversial issues exhibited on Australia tour after the end of tour, he said and urged for the need of separate batting and bowling coaches for national team.
