I think I tread (walk) on slippery sand,
And need to hold your guiding hand,
To face the tides of rising seas,
And stay the course on shifting land.
The passage from here to you is far,
The door I see is still ajar. (slight open);
I just hav to find the road to you,
'T is in my heart and mind too.
It is in the lane, a lonely walk,
The steps to reach you, I count too,
To get you and then to talk,
And pour all out of my heart to you.
I look for solace (tasalli) and for peace,
I look within and without;
And peace I found in my innermost
When you are all, I brood(think) about.
