Pak team face security concerns in India

KARACHI: The management of Pakistan’s hockey team voiced concerns over the security situation in Hockey World Cup in Delhi, Geo News reported Wednesday.

According to sources, Pak hockey team’s manager Asif Bajwa will request the Organising Committee in tomorrow’s meeting to ramp up the security of Pakistani team.

According to sources, the team was given high-level security; but, only two vehicles accompany the team in passage to the ground and back to their hotel.

The traffic is not held up for the bus carrying Pakistani players; so, the bus has to pull up at signals.

It should be mentioned that stones were pelted at Pakistani team bus during 1989 Asia Cup in India.
