Women team may face difficulties in T20 World Cup: coach

LAHORE: Member of the women cricket selection committee and coach Mansoor Rana said that Pakistan women team may face difficulties in the Twenty20 World Cup as it did not play international cricket.

Talking with media in Lahore on Thursday, Mansoor Rana said that performance of the 30 probable players is being reviewed.

These probable players have been selected for the T20 World Cup on the basis of their performance in the National Women Cricket Championship.

He said the best available players would be announced.

Rana said that a 20-day camp would be held before the World Cup and the women team has no more chance for preparations.

He said that the women team may find it difficult to improve its ranking due to lack of playing cricket under pressure.
