Pakistan Day T20: Pak A beat U-19 by 33 runs

LAHORE: An exhibition Twenty20 cricket match was played between the teams of Pakistan A and Pakistan Under-19 here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday to mark the Pakistan Day celebrations.

Imran Farhat smashed a brilliant century to help Pakistan A winning the interesting match by 33 runs.

Winning the toss, Pakistan A captain Mohammad Hafeez elected to bat and together with Imran Farhat provided a magnificent start of 159 runs.

Imran made 103 from just 56 balls with 14 fours and three sixes while Hafeez scored 59 as their team compiled 194 for four in the allotted 20 overs.

Raza Hasan claimed two wickets for Pakistan Under-19.

Chasing 195, played a fine innings of 88 runs whereas for Pakistan A, Mohammad Sami captured three and Abdul Rehman took two wickets.
