International cricket cannot be played at the moment in Pakistan: ICC
DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) taskforce said that no international cricket can be played at the moment in Pakistan and they have to also play their home series at neutral venues or away places.
Meanwhile, the ICC has expressed its determination to continue its full support to Pakistan.
The taskforce presented its report regarding Pakistan at the meeting of the ICC executive board and suggested that Pakistan have to play their own matches only on neutral venues.
The taskforce did not give any deadline for revival of international cricket in Pakistan but the ICC stressed on the point that the most important series for Pakistan is the series against India and this have to be given importance in the ICC’s Future Tour Programme.
This has been decided in the meeting that the ICC would give a security plan for the next international events.
The decision for shifting of the ICC headquarters from Dubai to London has been deferred again.
