Here is an Arabic sweet dish, which is very simple and easy to make.
1 1/4 cup suji(coarse),
1 cup fresh yogurt,
1 cup dry coconut (crushed),
3/4 cup oil or ghee,
1 cup sugar (powdered),
1/2 tsp baking soda,
2 large eggs,
1 cup sugar syrup.
10-15 almonds (soaked and peeled)
Mix all ingredients except sugar syrup in a large bowl and whip it with hand (do not use any mixers).Preheat oven at 375 degrees , grease glass tray with oil and pour the mixture and bake it for 20 mins, take the tray out garnish with blanched almonds and pour the syrup evenly and bake it again for 10-15 mins at
300 degrees. cut into square pieces after cooling down.
