Find Youtube Most Viewed, Watched Videos In Any Country or Region
Youtube is one of the most famous websites in the world today. It is a video sharing website that helps people share videos by enabling them to upload, and view videos uploaded by other users. This website uses adobe flash video technology to display a wide variety of user generated content, including movie clips, TV clips and music videos. A lot of corporate companies are also trying to use Youtube as a platform to promote their products by adding up videos as ads or sponsoring videos related to them in some or the other way.
So this website was launched in 2005 and since then it has become a web icon or a I should say an important part of the web culture and there are a range of features that make this concept of video blogging more interesting. Like this new feature called the trendsboard,
enables users to find out what is getting popular in their country and they can also specify their age group so that the results are filtered accordingly.
Like you can see in the above given picture that there are two options browse and compare and the browse section allows you to enter your country and age group with the option to filter the search for male or female as well. I think that this is a very useful feature for all the Youtube users that don’t like searching through a lot of videos and are only interested in their countries or their age groups. Also the male and female option can also be very helpful when you are trying to find more gender specific videos.
I will show you how this works with an example :
I tried to find out what’s popular in my country India and specified and age group of 18 to 24 years old, since I am not a gender biased person I didn’t specify the male or female part and decided for it to stay on all. I quickly got all the related videos which were sorted out according to their views and you can sort them out according to most shared or most viewed with help of the underlined links given on the top right of the window.
So in the end I would say that Youtube will certainly retain its popularity for a long time if it keeps upgrading its user interface with all the features that help users to find out what they need in quickest time possible.
