Pakistan put up a good show to draw Australia 5-5

IPOH: Australia squandered a three-goal lead and ended up sharing points with Pakistan in a thrilling contest of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup on Wednesday.

The match ended in a 5-5 draw with Pakistan equalizing the game at the final moments.

It was good effort from the Men in Green as they came back strongly to score three goals against strong Aussie team leading at one stage by 4-1.

Skipper Muhammad Imran scored two goals while Rizwan, Muhammad Irfan and Umar Bhutta also scored one goal each.

Pakistan has altogether gained five points in the tournament and will play its next match against Egypt on Thursday.
